the tour of the roses

A different kind of ride

This isn’t your typical mass-market sportive. It’s small, it’s social, it’s fully-supported and it involves some very serious cycling. Over three successive days you’ll take on some of the toughest climbs and dreamiest descents of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland.

A warm welcome

Our host town for the Tour of the Roses is Kendal in Cumbria. It’s easy to get to by car or train and we’ve negotiated preferential rates with the best hotels in the area. Relax after a hard day’s riding and share the experience with new friends. Get directions and see the accommodation.

Some of the toughest roads in England. I remember training on them back in December. That’s when the Tour de France was won.

dedicated SUPPORT

With you all the way

You won’t be left scanning the roadside for yellow arrows. We’ll be riding with you ensuring nobody gets dropped. You’ll be backed up all the way by a very nice man with a van and get to gorge on proper home-made sandwiches and cakes at the lunch stops. Meet your hosts for the weekend.
